Question

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use AN 2690? Is AN 2690 safe for nursing mother and child? Does AN 2690 extracts into breast milk? Does AN 2690 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can AN 2690 influence milk supply or can AN 2690 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Answer by DrLact: About AN 2690 usage in lactation

Topical AN 2690 has not been studied during breastfeeding. Because blood levels are very low after topical application to the toenails, it is unlikely that a measurable amount of the drug will enter the breastmilk.
