Question

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use HSDB 8342? Is HSDB 8342 safe for nursing mother and child? Does HSDB 8342 extracts into breast milk? Does HSDB 8342 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can HSDB 8342 influence milk supply or can HSDB 8342 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Answer by DrLact: About HSDB 8342 usage in lactation

Topical HSDB 8342 has not been studied during breastfeeding. Because blood levels are very low after topical application to the toenails, it is unlikely that a measurable amount of the drug will enter the breastmilk.
