Question

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use (2R,3R)-2-(2,4-Difluorofenil)-3-(4-metilenopiperidin-1-il)-1-(1H-1,2,4-triazin-1-il)butan-2-ol? Is (2R,3R)-2-(2,4-Difluorofenil)-3-(4-metilenopiperidin-1-il)-1-(1H-1,2,4-triazin-1-il)butan-2-ol safe for nursing mother and child? Does (2R,3R)-2-(2,4-Difluorofenil)-3-(4-metilenopiperidin-1-il)-1-(1H-1,2,4-triazin-1-il)butan-2-ol extracts into breast milk? Does (2R,3R)-2-(2,4-Difluorofenil)-3-(4-metilenopiperidin-1-il)-1-(1H-1,2,4-triazin-1-il)butan-2-ol has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can (2R,3R)-2-(2,4-Difluorofenil)-3-(4-metilenopiperidin-1-il)-1-(1H-1,2,4-triazin-1-il)butan-2-ol influence milk supply or can (2R,3R)-2-(2,4-Difluorofenil)-3-(4-metilenopiperidin-1-il)-1-(1H-1,2,4-triazin-1-il)butan-2-ol decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Answer by DrLact: About (2R,3R)-2-(2,4-Difluorofenil)-3-(4-metilenopiperidin-1-il)-1-(1H-1,2,4-triazin-1-il)butan-2-ol usage in lactation

Topical (2R,3R)-2-(2,4-Difluorofenil)-3-(4-metilenopiperidin-1-il)-1-(1H-1,2,4-triazin-1-il)butan-2-ol has not been studied during breastfeeding. Because maternal blood levels are very low after topical application to the toenails, it is unlikely that a measurable amount of the drug will enter the breastmilk.
