Question

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Jublia? Is Jublia safe for nursing mother and child? Does Jublia extracts into breast milk? Does Jublia has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Jublia influence milk supply or can Jublia decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Answer by DrLact: About Jublia usage in lactation

Topical Jublia has not been studied during breastfeeding. Because maternal blood levels are very low after topical application to the toenails, it is unlikely that a measurable amount of the drug will enter the breastmilk.
