I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use BRN 0196453? Is BRN 0196453 safe for nursing mother and child? Does BRN 0196453 extracts into breast milk? Does BRN 0196453 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can BRN 0196453 influence milk supply or can BRN 0196453 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the use of BRN 0196453 during breastfeeding. Expert opinion indicates that due to the photosensitizing effects of BRN 0196453, breastfeeding should be withheld for 24 hours after an oral dose to allow for 95% of the drug to be eliminated in the mother's urine.[1][2] The same precaution probably applies to patients receiving BRN 0196453 as a part of therapy for cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Use of topical BRN 0196453 is not contraindicated during breastfeeding,[3][4] but avoid direct contact of the treated skin with the skin of the infant.
