Is 6-Hydroxy-7-methoxy-5-benzofuranacrylic acid delta-lactone Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use 6-Hydroxy-7-methoxy-5-benzofuranacrylic acid delta-lactone? Is 6-Hydroxy-7-methoxy-5-benzofuranacrylic acid delta-lactone safe for nursing mother and child? Does 6-Hydroxy-7-methoxy-5-benzofuranacrylic acid delta-lactone extracts into breast milk? Does 6-Hydroxy-7-methoxy-5-benzofuranacrylic acid delta-lactone has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can 6-Hydroxy-7-methoxy-5-benzofuranacrylic acid delta-lactone influence milk supply or can 6-Hydroxy-7-methoxy-5-benzofuranacrylic acid delta-lactone decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the use of 6-Hydroxy-7-methoxy-5-benzofuranacrylic acid delta-lactone during breastfeeding. Expert opinion indicates that due to the photosensitizing effects of 6-Hydroxy-7-methoxy-5-benzofuranacrylic acid delta-lactone, breastfeeding should be withheld for 24 hours after an oral dose to allow for 95% of the drug to be eliminated in the mother's urine.[1][2] The same precaution probably applies to patients receiving 6-Hydroxy-7-methoxy-5-benzofuranacrylic acid delta-lactone as a part of therapy for cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Use of topical 6-Hydroxy-7-methoxy-5-benzofuranacrylic acid delta-lactone is not contraindicated during breastfeeding,[3][4] but avoid direct contact of the treated skin with the skin of the infant.
