Is Oxsoralen-Ultra Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Oxsoralen-Ultra? Is Oxsoralen-Ultra safe for nursing mother and child? Does Oxsoralen-Ultra extracts into breast milk? Does Oxsoralen-Ultra has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Oxsoralen-Ultra influence milk supply or can Oxsoralen-Ultra decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the use of Oxsoralen-Ultra during breastfeeding. Expert opinion indicates that due to the photosensitizing effects of Oxsoralen-Ultra, breastfeeding should be withheld for 24 hours after an oral dose to allow for 95% of the drug to be eliminated in the mother's urine.[1][2] The same precaution probably applies to patients receiving Oxsoralen-Ultra as a part of therapy for cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Use of topical Oxsoralen-Ultra is not contraindicated during breastfeeding,[3][4] but avoid direct contact of the treated skin with the skin of the infant.
