Is Psoralon-MOP Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Psoralon-MOP? Is Psoralon-MOP safe for nursing mother and child? Does Psoralon-MOP extracts into breast milk? Does Psoralon-MOP has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Psoralon-MOP influence milk supply or can Psoralon-MOP decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the use of Psoralon-MOP during breastfeeding. Expert opinion indicates that due to the photosensitizing effects of Psoralon-MOP, breastfeeding should be withheld for 24 hours after an oral dose to allow for 95% of the drug to be eliminated in the mother's urine.[1][2] The same precaution probably applies to patients receiving Psoralon-MOP as a part of therapy for cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Use of topical Psoralon-MOP is not contraindicated during breastfeeding,[3][4] but avoid direct contact of the treated skin with the skin of the infant.
