I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use OPC-34712? Is OPC-34712 safe for nursing mother and child? Does OPC-34712 extracts into breast milk? Does OPC-34712 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can OPC-34712 influence milk supply or can OPC-34712 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the use of OPC-34712 during breastfeeding. If OPC-34712 is required by the mother of an older infant, it is not a reason to discontinue breastfeeding, but until more data become available, an alternate drug may be preferred, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant.
