Is Edrophonum Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Edrophonum? Is Edrophonum safe for nursing mother and child? Does Edrophonum extracts into breast milk? Does Edrophonum has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Edrophonum influence milk supply or can Edrophonum decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the use of Edrophonum during breastfeeding. However, because of its short half-life and quaternary ammonium structure, it is unlikely to be excreted into breastmilk or orally absorbed by the infant. Administering the drug just after breastfeeding and waiting 2 to 3 hours before breastfeeding again should avoid any adverse reactions in the infant.
