Is BCX 1812 Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use BCX 1812? Is BCX 1812 safe for nursing mother and child? Does BCX 1812 extracts into breast milk? Does BCX 1812 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can BCX 1812 influence milk supply or can BCX 1812 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the use of BCX 1812 during breastfeeding. Because BCX 1812 is poorly absorbed orally, it is not likely to reach the bloodstream of the infant in clinically important amounts. If BCX 1812 is required by the mother, it is not a reason to discontinue breastfeeding. However, because no information is available on the use of BCX 1812 breastfeeding, an alternate drug may be preferred, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant.
