Is 1,2-Dimethyl-3-hydroxypyrid-4-one Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use 1,2-Dimethyl-3-hydroxypyrid-4-one? Is 1,2-Dimethyl-3-hydroxypyrid-4-one safe for nursing mother and child? Does 1,2-Dimethyl-3-hydroxypyrid-4-one extracts into breast milk? Does 1,2-Dimethyl-3-hydroxypyrid-4-one has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can 1,2-Dimethyl-3-hydroxypyrid-4-one influence milk supply or can 1,2-Dimethyl-3-hydroxypyrid-4-one decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Because no information is available on the use of 1,2-Dimethyl-3-hydroxypyrid-4-one during breastfeeding and it is orally absorbed, an alternate drug is preferred, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant. Australian guidelines recommend against breastfeeding during 1,2-Dimethyl-3-hydroxypyrid-4-one treatment.[1]
