I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use CCRIS 8318? Is CCRIS 8318 safe for nursing mother and child? Does CCRIS 8318 extracts into breast milk? Does CCRIS 8318 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can CCRIS 8318 influence milk supply or can CCRIS 8318 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Because no information is available on the use of CCRIS 8318 during breastfeeding and it is orally absorbed, an alternate drug is preferred, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant. Australian guidelines recommend against breastfeeding during CCRIS 8318 treatment.[1]
