I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use HSDB 8318? Is HSDB 8318 safe for nursing mother and child? Does HSDB 8318 extracts into breast milk? Does HSDB 8318 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can HSDB 8318 influence milk supply or can HSDB 8318 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No published information is available on the clinical use of HSDB 8318 (IR3535) during breastfeeding. However, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency consider IR3535 to be safe and effective during breastfeeding when used as directed. It should be used by breastfeeding women to avoid exposure to mosquito-borne viruses.[1] Avoid application directly to the nipple and other areas where the infant might directly ingest the product.
