Is LDK378 Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use LDK378? Is LDK378 safe for nursing mother and child? Does LDK378 extracts into breast milk? Does LDK378 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can LDK378 influence milk supply or can LDK378 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the clinical use of LDK378 during breastfeeding. Because LDK378 is 97% bound to plasma proteins, the amount in milk is likely to be low. The manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during LDK378 therapy and for 2 weeks after the final dose.
