Question

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use 2-Propen-1-one, 1-((3R)-3-(4-amino-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo(3,4-d)pyrimidin-1-yl)-1-piperidinyl)-? Is 2-Propen-1-one, 1-((3R)-3-(4-amino-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo(3,4-d)pyrimidin-1-yl)-1-piperidinyl)- safe for nursing mother and child? Does 2-Propen-1-one, 1-((3R)-3-(4-amino-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo(3,4-d)pyrimidin-1-yl)-1-piperidinyl)- extracts into breast milk? Does 2-Propen-1-one, 1-((3R)-3-(4-amino-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo(3,4-d)pyrimidin-1-yl)-1-piperidinyl)- has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can 2-Propen-1-one, 1-((3R)-3-(4-amino-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo(3,4-d)pyrimidin-1-yl)-1-piperidinyl)- influence milk supply or can 2-Propen-1-one, 1-((3R)-3-(4-amino-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo(3,4-d)pyrimidin-1-yl)-1-piperidinyl)- decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Answer by DrLact: About 2-Propen-1-one, 1-((3R)-3-(4-amino-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo(3,4-d)pyrimidin-1-yl)-1-piperidinyl)- usage in lactation

No information is available on the clinical use of 2-Propen-1-one, 1-((3R)-3-(4-amino-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo(3,4-d)pyrimidin-1-yl)-1-piperidinyl)- during breastfeeding. Because 2-Propen-1-one, 1-((3R)-3-(4-amino-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo(3,4-d)pyrimidin-1-yl)-1-piperidinyl)- is more than 97% bound to plasma proteins, the amount in milk is likely to be low. The manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during 2-Propen-1-one, 1-((3R)-3-(4-amino-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo(3,4-d)pyrimidin-1-yl)-1-piperidinyl)- therapy.
