Is BAY73-4506 Safe in Breastfeeding
Question
I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use BAY73-4506? Is BAY73-4506 safe for nursing mother and child? Does BAY73-4506 extracts into breast milk? Does BAY73-4506 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can BAY73-4506 influence milk supply or can BAY73-4506 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the clinical use of BAY73-4506 during breastfeeding. Because BAY73-4506 is 99.5% bound to plasma proteins, the amount in milk is likely to be low. However, one of its metabolites has a half-life of up to 70 hours, and might accumulate in the infant. The manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during BAY73-4506 therapy and for 2 weeks after the final dose.
