Is PD0332991 Safe in Breastfeeding
Question
I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use PD0332991? Is PD0332991 safe for nursing mother and child? Does PD0332991 extracts into breast milk? Does PD0332991 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can PD0332991 influence milk supply or can PD0332991 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the clinical use of PD0332991 during breastfeeding. Because PD0332991 is 85% bound to plasma proteins, the amount in milk is likely to be low. However, its half-life is about 29 hours and it might accumulate in the infant. It is also given in combination with letrozole or fulvestrant, which may increase the risk to the infant. The manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during PD0332991 therapy and for 3 weeks after the last dose.
