Question

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use UNII-3C06JJ0Z2O? Is UNII-3C06JJ0Z2O safe for nursing mother and child? Does UNII-3C06JJ0Z2O extracts into breast milk? Does UNII-3C06JJ0Z2O has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can UNII-3C06JJ0Z2O influence milk supply or can UNII-3C06JJ0Z2O decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Answer by DrLact: About UNII-3C06JJ0Z2O usage in lactation

No information is available on the clinical use of UNII-3C06JJ0Z2O during breastfeeding. Because UNII-3C06JJ0Z2O is 95% bound to plasma proteins, the amount in milk is likely to be low. However, its half-life is about 48 hours and it might accumulate in the infant. The manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during UNII-3C06JJ0Z2O therapy and for 2 weeks after the final dose.
