Is BIBF 1120 Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use BIBF 1120? Is BIBF 1120 safe for nursing mother and child? Does BIBF 1120 extracts into breast milk? Does BIBF 1120 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can BIBF 1120 influence milk supply or can BIBF 1120 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the clinical use of BIBF 1120 during breastfeeding. Because BIBF 1120 is more than 97% bound to plasma proteins, the amount in milk is likely to be low. However, its half-life is about 9.7 hours and it might accumulate in the infant. The manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during BIBF 1120 therapy.
