Is BIBF-1120 Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use BIBF-1120? Is BIBF-1120 safe for nursing mother and child? Does BIBF-1120 extracts into breast milk? Does BIBF-1120 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can BIBF-1120 influence milk supply or can BIBF-1120 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the clinical use of BIBF-1120 during breastfeeding. Because BIBF-1120 is more than 97% bound to plasma proteins, the amount in milk is likely to be low. However, its half-life is about 9.7 hours and it might accumulate in the infant. The manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during BIBF-1120 therapy.
