Is E 7080 Safe in Breastfeeding
Question
I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use E 7080? Is E 7080 safe for nursing mother and child? Does E 7080 extracts into breast milk? Does E 7080 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can E 7080 influence milk supply or can E 7080 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the clinical use of E 7080 during breastfeeding. Because E 7080 is more than 98% bound to plasma proteins, the amount in milk is likely to be low. However, its half-life is about 28 hours and it might accumulate in the infant. The manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during E 7080 therapy and for 1 week after the last dose.
