Is PLX4032 Safe in Breastfeeding
Question
I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use PLX4032? Is PLX4032 safe for nursing mother and child? Does PLX4032 extracts into breast milk? Does PLX4032 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can PLX4032 influence milk supply or can PLX4032 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the clinical use of PLX4032 during breastfeeding. Because PLX4032 is more than 99% bound to plasma proteins, the amount in milk is likely to be low. However, its half-life is 57 hours and it might accumulate in the infant. The manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during PLX4032 therapy and for 2 weeks after the final dose.
