I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use GSK 1120212? Is GSK 1120212 safe for nursing mother and child? Does GSK 1120212 extracts into breast milk? Does GSK 1120212 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can GSK 1120212 influence milk supply or can GSK 1120212 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the clinical use of GSK 1120212 during breastfeeding. Because GSK 1120212 is 97% bound to plasma proteins, the amount in milk is likely to be low. However, its half-life is 3.9 to 4.8 days and it might accumulate in the infant. The manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during GSK 1120212 therapy and for 4 months after the last dose.
