Is Erivedge Safe in Breastfeeding
Question
I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Erivedge? Is Erivedge safe for nursing mother and child? Does Erivedge extracts into breast milk? Does Erivedge has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Erivedge influence milk supply or can Erivedge decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the clinical use of Erivedge during breastfeeding. Because Erivedge is more than 99% bound to plasma proteins, the amount in milk is likely to be low. However, its half-life is 4 days and it might accumulate in the infant. The manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during Erivedge therapy and for 24 months after the final dose.
