Is R 3616 Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use R 3616? Is R 3616 safe for nursing mother and child? Does R 3616 extracts into breast milk? Does R 3616 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can R 3616 influence milk supply or can R 3616 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the clinical use of R 3616 during breastfeeding. Because R 3616 is more than 99% bound to plasma proteins, the amount in milk is likely to be low. However, its half-life is 4 days and it might accumulate in the infant. The manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during R 3616 therapy and for 24 months after the final dose.
