I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Silibrin? Is Silibrin safe for nursing mother and child? Does Silibrin extracts into breast milk? Does Silibrin has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Silibrin influence milk supply or can Silibrin decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the use of Silibrin during breastfeeding. Because the drug and metabolites could accumulate in the breastfed infant, an alternate drug may be preferred, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant.
