Question

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use UNII-67VB76HONO? Is UNII-67VB76HONO safe for nursing mother and child? Does UNII-67VB76HONO extracts into breast milk? Does UNII-67VB76HONO has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can UNII-67VB76HONO influence milk supply or can UNII-67VB76HONO decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Answer by DrLact: About UNII-67VB76HONO usage in lactation

Limited data indicate that very small amounts of UNII-67VB76HONO are excreted into breastmilk for 6 hours after the end of an infusion. Because of the small amounts of colostrum secreted in the first day postpartum, the dose received by a neonate is unlikely to be of any consequence when the drug is used during delivery. The drug is absent from breastmilk by 24 hours after the end of an infusion. UNII-67VB76HONO would not be expected to cause adverse effects in breastfed infants or neonates.
