Is TPU 006 Safe in Breastfeeding
Question
I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use TPU 006? Is TPU 006 safe for nursing mother and child? Does TPU 006 extracts into breast milk? Does TPU 006 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can TPU 006 influence milk supply or can TPU 006 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Limited data indicate that very small amounts of TPU 006 are excreted into breastmilk for 6 hours after the end of an infusion. Because of the small amounts of colostrum secreted in the first day postpartum, the dose received by a neonate is unlikely to be of any consequence when the drug is used during delivery. The drug is absent from breastmilk by 24 hours after the end of an infusion. TPU 006 would not be expected to cause adverse effects in breastfed infants or neonates.
