I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Exemestanum [INN-Latin]? Is Exemestanum [INN-Latin] safe for nursing mother and child? Does Exemestanum [INN-Latin] extracts into breast milk? Does Exemestanum [INN-Latin] has any long term or short term side effects on infants? No information is available on the use of Exemestanum [INN-Latin] during breastfeeding. Most sources consider breastfeeding to be contraindicated during maternal antineoplastic drug therapy. The manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during Exemestanum [INN-Latin] therapy and for 1 month after the last dose.
