I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Exemestanum? Is Exemestanum safe for nursing mother and child? Does Exemestanum extracts into breast milk? Does Exemestanum has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Exemestanum influence milk supply or can Exemestanum decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the use of Exemestanum during breastfeeding. Most sources consider breastfeeding to be contraindicated during maternal antineoplastic drug therapy. The manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during Exemestanum therapy and for 1 month after the last dose.
