I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Mannite? Is Mannite safe for nursing mother and child? Does Mannite extracts into breast milk? Does Mannite has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Mannite influence milk supply or can Mannite decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Intravenously used it may produce osmotic diuresis. Also used as a osmotic laxative drug.
