Is LEE-011 Safe in Breastfeeding
Question
I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use LEE-011? Is LEE-011 safe for nursing mother and child? Does LEE-011 extracts into breast milk? Does LEE-011 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can LEE-011 influence milk supply or can LEE-011 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the clinical use of LEE-011 during breastfeeding. Because protein binding of LEE-011 is 70%, clinically important amounts of the drug might pass into breastmilk. The manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during LEE-011 therapy and for at least 3 weeks after the final dose.
