Is LEE011 Safe in Breastfeeding
Question
I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use LEE011? Is LEE011 safe for nursing mother and child? Does LEE011 extracts into breast milk? Does LEE011 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can LEE011 influence milk supply or can LEE011 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the clinical use of LEE011 during breastfeeding. Because protein binding of LEE011 is 70%, clinically important amounts of the drug might pass into breastmilk. The manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during LEE011 therapy and for at least 3 weeks after the final dose.
