I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use UNII-I42748ELQW? Is UNII-I42748ELQW safe for nursing mother and child? Does UNII-I42748ELQW extracts into breast milk? Does UNII-I42748ELQW has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can UNII-I42748ELQW influence milk supply or can UNII-I42748ELQW decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the clinical use of UNII-I42748ELQW during breastfeeding. Because UNII-I42748ELQW is over 97% bound to plasma proteins, and the half-life of the drug and metabolite are less than 7 hours, the amount in milk is likely to be low. However, the protein binding of the active metabolite is not known and the manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during UNII-I42748ELQW therapy and for at least 2 weeks after the final dose.
