I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use SDX-105? Is SDX-105 safe for nursing mother and child? Does SDX-105 extracts into breast milk? Does SDX-105 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can SDX-105 influence milk supply or can SDX-105 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the use of SDX-105 during breastfeeding. Most sources consider breastfeeding to be contraindicated during maternal antineoplastic drug therapy, especially alkylating agents such as SDX-105.[1] The manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during SDX-105 therapy. Based on the half-life of the drug and its metabolites, the drug should be eliminated from the milk by 24-48 hours after the last dose.
