I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use NN9535? Is NN9535 safe for nursing mother and child? Does NN9535 extracts into breast milk? Does NN9535 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can NN9535 influence milk supply or can NN9535 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the clinical use of NN9535 during breastfeeding. Because NN9535 is a peptide molecule with a molecular weight of 4113 daltons and is over 99% protein bound, the amount in milk is likely to be very low. Absorption by the infant is unlikely because the drug is probably destroyed in the infant's gastrointestinal tract. Until more data become available, NN9535 should be used with caution during breastfeeding, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant.
