I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use ARRY-438162? Is ARRY-438162 safe for nursing mother and child? Does ARRY-438162 extracts into breast milk? Does ARRY-438162 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can ARRY-438162 influence milk supply or can ARRY-438162 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the clinical use of ARRY-438162 during breastfeeding. Because ARRY-438162 is 97% bound to plasma proteins, and the half-life of the drugis 3.5 hours, the amount in milk is likely to be low. However, the manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during ARRY-438162 therapy and for at least 3 days after the final dose. For patients taking the combination with encorafenib, the manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during ARRY-438162 therapy and for at least 2 weeks after the final dose.
