Is HA 22 Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use HA 22? Is HA 22 safe for nursing mother and child? Does HA 22 extracts into breast milk? Does HA 22 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can HA 22 influence milk supply or can HA 22 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the clinical use of HA 22 during breastfeeding. HA 22 is a recombinant immunotoxin consisting of the Fv portion of the anti-CD22 antibody covalently fused to a 38 KDa fragment of Pseudomonas exotoxin-A (PE38) with potential anti-cancer activity. Because moxetumomab is a large protein molecule with a molecular weight of about 63,000, the amount in milk is likely to be very low and absorption is unlikely because it is probably destroyed in the infant's gastrointestinal tract. If HA 22 is required by the mother, it is not a reason to discontinue breastfeeding. Until more data become available, HA 22 should be used with caution during breastfeeding, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant.
