I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Osvix? Is Osvix safe for nursing mother and child? Does Osvix extracts into breast milk? Does Osvix has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Osvix influence milk supply or can Osvix decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No published information is available on the use of Osvix during breastfeeding. The manufacturer reports that no adverse effects have been observed in breastfed infants with maternal Osvix use during lactation in a small number of postmarketing cases. If Osvix is required by the mother, it is not a reason to discontinue breastfeeding. However, since no published information is available on the use of Osvix during breastfeeding, an alternate drug may be preferred, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant.
