Does SC 69124 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can SC 69124 influence milk supply or can SC 69124 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Punctually indicated for post-operative pain relief. Acts by blocking cyclooxygenase enzyme (COX-2). It is metabolized to Valdecoxib. Excreted into breast milk in non-significant amount without side effects reported in breastfed infants from treated mothers. However, because information available on latest update concerning breastfeeding is lacking, other treatment option with a known safer medication during breastfeeding should be used.
