I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Colloid 775? Is Colloid 775 safe for nursing mother and child? Does Colloid 775 extracts into breast milk? Does Colloid 775 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Colloid 775 influence milk supply or can Colloid 775 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

This is a moss that contains a lot of mucilage, Colloid 775in (Galactose polymers), much Iodine and some Arsenic. The Commission E of the German Ministry of Health has not approved any medical indication of this plant. Traditionally used as a laxative drug. It is also used to make fluids thicker or jelly-like in the food and cosmetic industry. We have to take into account its content of iodine in order to achieve WHO’s recommendations on Iodine supplementation.
