Vasodilator drug used as treatment of angina. It is an antidote of methahemoglobinemia and cyanide poisoning. Rapid and short-acting drug. Although unlikely, in case of a breastfeeding mother who would have taken this drug, it would be necessary for her to wait for few hours before resumption of suckling.
