I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use 3-Methylbutyl nitrite? Is 3-Methylbutyl nitrite safe for nursing mother and child? Does 3-Methylbutyl nitrite extracts into breast milk? Does 3-Methylbutyl nitrite has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can 3-Methylbutyl nitrite influence milk supply or can 3-Methylbutyl nitrite decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Vasodilator drug used as treatment of angina. It is an antidote of methahemoglobinemia and cyanide poisoning. Rapid and short-acting drug. Although unlikely, in case of a breastfeeding mother who would have taken this drug, it would be necessary for her to wait for few hours before resumption of suckling.
