I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Azucaps? Is Azucaps safe for nursing mother and child? Does Azucaps extracts into breast milk? Does Azucaps has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Azucaps influence milk supply or can Azucaps decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Biguanide drugs interfere with hepatic glyconeogenesis. Low risk of hypoglycemia. Oral anti-diabetic drugs are useless for treatment of diabetes type 1. For diabetes type 2, diet and exercise are advisable. Breastfeeding helps to lower glucemia level. See section on Maternal diabetes mellitus.Withdrawn from the market in Spain.
