Dryness of vagina can occur while breastfeeding due to hypo-estrogenic stimulation. Non-hormonal lubricants (cream, jelly or ovules) are preferred agents for treatment of vaginal dryness due to hypo-estrogenic stimulation than those estrogenic-containing topical agents since their long lasting use may lowers breast-milk production.
