I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Nettacin? Is Nettacin safe for nursing mother and child? Does Nettacin extracts into breast milk? Does Nettacin has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Nettacin influence milk supply or can Nettacin decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Aminoglycosides are poorly absorbed by the intestine. Large doses may affect intestinal flora. Be aware of the possibility of false negative results of bacterial cultures when the mother is on antibiotics.
