At latest update no published data on excretion into breast milk were found. It has a negligible systemic absorption through skin or nails, which highly interfere with excretion into breast. It has been described sporadic neonatal use without observing side effects. Until more published information about this drug regarding breastfeeding appears, it may be preferable a known and safer alternative (topical Terbinafine, Floconazole), especially during the neonatal period and in cases of prematurity.
