Antispasmodic drug with direct effect on intestinal smooth muscle and little anticholinergic effects. Used for treatment of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. At latest update no published data on excretion into breast milk were found. Anticholinergic drugs may reduce milk production: take a minimum necessary dose and avoid long-term treatment whenever breastmilk were decreased.
