At latest update, relevant information on excretion into breast milk was not found. Product with a pharmacokinetics, effectiveness, therapeutic usefulness and side-effects that are ill defined. Authorized use in children. Cough reflex is an important protection mechanism of the airway system. Use of symptomatic relief medication would be better avoided. Until more information on this medication is available, a known safer medication is preferred. Otherwise, sedation in the infant should be monitored.
